This booklet offers a methodology for conflict assessments at the country or regional level. Based on the UK Department for International Development's (DFID) experience in conducting Strategic Conflict Assessments, the document aims to help practitioners to analyze conflict; better assess conflict related risks associated with development or humanitarian assistance; and develop options for more conflict sensitive policies and programmes.
