Peace Infrastructures - Assessing Concept and Practice

2014. Author: Barbara Unger, Stina Lundström, Katrin Planta and Beatrix Austin (eds.), Berghof Foundation

This publication is part of Berghof’s Handbook Dialogue Series. It invited practitioners and academics to lead forward the debate on the emerging practice and theory of “peace infrastructures”. The series draws from examples from Sri Lanka, Nepal, South Africa, Colombia, Lebanon and Cyprus. The authors discuss whether and how peace should be given “an address” – and if so, how we best can support peace infrastructures while avoiding pitfalls.
