This study stems from an observation made by The Network for Religious and Traditional Peacemakers that in certain conflict con- texts religious and traditional peacemakers exhibit potential as mediators, and that they may have specific mediation support needs that, if met, could further enhance their contribution to peacemaking.The case studies carried out in this study include Myanmar, Southern Thailand, Lebanon, Colombia, Kenya and Mali.
